You can&rsquo;t just edit its system files, but you <strong>can</strong> build your own image on top of it.</li> <li>One <code>Containerfile</code> that starts <code>FROM ghcr.io/ublue-os/bazzite:stable</code>, plus your changes, is the whole customization.</li> <li>GitHub Actions rebuilds the image every week (mine takes about 5 minutes), so Bazzite&rsquo;s updates flow in automatically.</li> <li>Switch to it with <code>sudo bootc switch ghcr.io/&lt;you&gt;/&lt;image&gt;:latest</code>. If anything is wrong, <code>sudo bootc rollback</code> and reboot.</li> <li>Kernel parameters are <strong>not</strong> part of the image.
